High-speed Adapter Tau-PCI Features:

Cronyx-Tau-PCI is a high speed (up to 10 Mbps) PCI Bus Master synchronous adapter that allows to connect IBM PC and compatible computers to the modern communication equipment such as HDSL or Fiber Optic modems. Its options include sophisticated interfaces for direct connection to G.703 (2048 kbps) communication channels or E1 Fractional services (see Chapters "Short Range Modems" and "Digital Service Access Devices".)

The key element of Cronyx-Tau-PCI is Peb20534 controller chip (a product of Infineon Technologies). Interface options cover RS-232, V.35, RS-530 (RS-449), G.703 (2048 kbps) and E1 standards.

There are several models of Tau-PCI adapter available, supporting different serial interfaces.
