Adapter Tau-PCI/32 represents the multiplexer-crossconnector with two E1 ports and 32 built-in HDLC-controllers. The basic applicability of adapter Tau-PCI/32 - construction of networks of data transmission on the basis of E1 channels, and also for creation of the specialized equipment of processing of E1 streams (a telephony, signaling).
